Nam Hom

Not all coconuts are the same. Nam Hom is a specific variety — selected, cultivated, and harvested for one reason: the water inside is unlike anything else. Naturally sweet. Faintly floral. Complete on its own.

Nam Hom.
A different
kind of coconut.

Nam Hom means "fragrant water" in Thai — and the name is accurate. The coconuts are smaller than the common varieties you find in mass production, with a thinner husk and a water-to-flesh ratio that favors what matters: the liquid inside.

The water is naturally sweeter and more aromatic than standard coconuts, without any intervention. It is not a marketing claim. It is simply what grows when the right variety meets the right soil and climate.

Most commercial coconut water is made from commodity varieties chosen for yield and shelf life. Nam Hom is chosen for taste.

Aerial view of the Ratchaburi river valley — lush green flatlands and coconut farms, golden hour

Located roughly 100 km west of Bangkok, Ratchaburi province sits in the Mae Klong river valley — one of the most fertile agricultural regions in Southeast Asia. The combination of alluvial soil, high humidity, and consistent tropical heat creates conditions that Nam Hom coconuts have thrived in for generations.

The Mae Klong river, which runs through the heart of the province, has historically provided the irrigation and mineral-rich sediment that define the region's character. Farmers here have cultivated Nam Hom for over a century, passing the practice down through families who know each tree personally.

Ratchaburi produces approximately 80% of all Nam Hom coconuts in the world. It is not a coincidence — the variety evolved here, adapted to this specific climate and soil, and resists successful replication elsewhere. When we say origin matters, this is what we mean.

We source only from certified organic farms within the province. No concentrate, no blending across origins, no compromise on traceability.
